In 2019, as the number of condominiums in Costa Rica continued to rise—now surpassing 5,300 and still growing—an informal group was formed. Its purpose was simple yet essential: to share opinions and experiences, promote well-being in condominiums, solve problems, and address oversight issues. Above all, it aimed to hold administrations accountable, ensuring fair and transparent management.
Associations, lobbying groups, and various entities have always existed to defend the interests of developers and administrators, yet no organization was dedicated to protecting condominium owners—the very people who invest in and live in these communities. Recognizing this gap, our group grew rapidly, bringing together more and more condominium owners who sought fairness, transparency, and responsible management.
As condominiums continued to expand across the country, so did our community. What began as a small network of concerned owners soon gained momentum, leading us to formalize our organization. Today, we stand as a united voice for condominium owners, advocating for their rights, ensuring fair policies, and working towards well-managed, transparent, and harmonious communities.
We are here to empower, protect, and represent those who truly own their homes.
